2 new exciting projects underway...

Working with TEP Ltd (The Environment Partnership), Mel has been commissioned to design new site furniture, gateway signage and interpretation features for the historical Village of Bute Town in south Wales. The new features are to reflect to towns unique industrial heritage and inform visitors about the Scheduled Ancient Monument on the site.

Mel is working again for South Tyneside Council, to develop another stretch of the promenade at South Shields. The £1.5m scheme, funded by the Coastal Communities Fund will include new promenade benches, sculptural seats, artwork for new pre-cast stone walls and feature entrance gates to the pleasure beach. Works are due to be completed by summer 2016.
