Working for URS/Scott Wilson, Melanie was commissioned to develop and detail design a unique suite of Interpretation Elements for 24 no sites along the east coast of Northern Ireland.

Working closely with Scott Wilson’s Architects and Engineers based in Belfast, features include a hierarchy of site Entrance Markers, Finger Post Signs, bespoke structures to hold Interpretation panels, and an interactive, fun nature trail for children.

The project has also required Melanie to provide the graphic design of all of the Interpretation panels, which include hand drawn illustrations for each site.

Melanie was also asked to provide concept designs for logos for the Mournes Coastal Route and Strangford areas, which were further developed by a branding company and appear on the signage.
